Completely and beautifully furnished right down to the corkscrew.This is a very homey, clean, and great house to live in. A world apart from the standard rental. Just a few amentities include: Flat screen TV(no cable but 16 local channels via antenna), brand new appliances including gas stove, landline, tropical garden lighting, great around-the-corner-location to supermarket, drugstore, beach and I-75; and too many more to list. Located just 20 min. south of Sarasota (1 ½ hrs south of Tampa) on the coast, in Nokomis FL.

Nokomis is a diamond in the rough-the Florida that time has forgotten. Enjoy walks on Casey Key, a beautiful barrier island of white sandy beaches and beautiful sunsets and no high rises. Shelling and shark tooth finds are plentiful and fishing opportunities abound.

This area has it all. Craft your stay to your liking. Spend quiet days on the beach, go fishing or kayaking. Take evening strolls on the beach and watch the sunset. All the essentials are easily accessed within a quarter of a mile. Three restaurants are within walking distance as it is a full-service marina.

If you would like a more lively stay, boat rentals, golf, and tennis are all nearby. A short drive north is Sarasota, the cultural capital of Florida where music, theater, galleries, shopping, and restaurants abound. South of us is the island of Venice, a picturesque, quaint town. Its main street is lined with palms and flowers. Shops, restaurants, and sidewalk cafes line both sides of the streets.

Day trips: Tampa, Orlando, Boca Grande, Naples, and Sanibel are all easy trips.
