Silent Sports Outfitters offers the same opportunity as the self guided tours (delivery, instructions, pick up) with the inclusion of a guide for an additional charge.
Guided Tours are offered on Monday, Wednesday & Saturday mornings only, from 8:30 - Noon.
Silent Sports Outfitters most popular option is the self guided tour. Choose a trip in Little Sarasota Bay or Oscar Scherer State Park, where you can experience secluded mangrove islands, isolated gulf beaches and wildlife while experiencing the serenity that only kayaking in Florida can bring. Your kayaks are shuttled to the launch site where experienced staff will introduce you to the necessary paddling skills needed, answer your questions, and review the directions for your chosen trip. When you arrive back at the launch site, staff will be waiting to pick up the equipment and you can be quickly on your way to other activities Sarasota has to offer.
